23 - Música Primaveral

Un par de fotos de la locura que fue el Primavera Sound de este año. Gente, gente, gente y más gente. Me encanta leer las críticas foribundas del festival, sobre todo si son acerca del público... me encanta la facilidad con la que  somos capaces de juzgar a gente que no conocemos. En todo caso, yo disfruté muchísismo de The Walkmen, The Afgan Whigs, Beirut, Sleigh Bells, The Rapture... y no se que más, pues reconozco que mi viaje a Islandia supuso una especie de re-inicio mental. Las fotos, por cierto, las hice con una cámara de plástico de gran angular, una Wide-Angle Blue Ribbon y con la maravilla de carretes de Kodak Portra.

Before flying to Iceland for my miniholidays I went to Primavera Sound for 2 days, I had my plastic toy camera, a Wide-Angle Blue Ribbon, with me, to see what could I catch with it. As it is, I caught a lot of light leaks and I fell in love with the Kodak Portra rolls and their colors.

Well, and I managed to see The Walkmen, The Afgan Whigs, Beirut, Sleigh Bells, The Rapture... and I forget who else because while I'll enjoyed it a lot (I 'm in *love* with live music), my trip to Iceland kind of did a reset on everything I had on my mind.

22 - it's all blurry from now on

He descubierto que tengo que llevar las gafas si quiero sacar las fotos medianamente enfocadas. Mi astigmatismo ya está lo suficientemente avanzado para que enfocar los ojos con las lentillas (soy también miope) sea cada vez más difícil. Vamos, que me doy cuenta que no me puedo fiar para nada de mis ojos... excepto para leer y escribir, lo que es muy curioso, la verdad.

I've discovered that my astigmatism is getting quite bad, and my contact lenses only work for my myopia, so I need to wear my glasses if I want to, more or less, focus my camera... It's a very strange thing knowing you really cannot trust your eyesight anymore, and, at the same time, I also find quite funny that, actually, reading and writing are the only things I can do comfortably without glasses.
